The service
Holdback is a Shopify app that audits a store's discounts and runs discount campaigns with a randomly held-back control group. You install it, choose a plan through Shopify, and start campaigns yourself.
Estimates are estimates
The audit and campaign results are statistical estimates shown as ranges. They are not guarantees of revenue, savings or customer behavior, except where a separate written offer from us says otherwise.
Your responsibilities
- You decide which discounts to offer and to whom, and you are responsible for your offers and the emails you send.
- You must have the rights to the store data you connect.
Billing
Plans are billed through Shopify. You can change or cancel your plan in the app at any time. Fees already charged are not refunded, including for a partial month. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you paid for.
Data
How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms with notice in the app. You can stop at any time by uninstalling.
